Services

Landscaping for Property Developers and New-Build Communities

On a new development the garden is the first thing a buyer sees and the last thing the site programme gets to. Our job is to make sure it arrives at handover finished, not improvised.

How we deliver this service

We work from the project stage, reading the masterplan and the architectural intent to define green areas that suit the residential product, with a realistic view of both installation cost and the maintenance cost the future community will inherit.

Planning is coordinated with the project management team and the other trades. Planting follows the real construction programme — final levels, buried services, paving and finishes — so nothing goes in the ground too early and the whole landscape package does not land in the last two weeks.

Plant selection is Mediterranean and coastal: habit, growth rate, salt tolerance and water demand are assessed species by species. Irrigation is designed in zones, with one programme for the establishment period and another for normal use.

Handover includes as-built planting and irrigation drawings, the plant schedule and care instructions, together with a proposed maintenance plan, so the developer can pass a garden with guaranteed continuity to the community.

What is included

  • Design and planning of the development's green areas
  • Coordination with project management and site trades
  • Mediterranean species selection and specimen sourcing
  • Soil preparation, drainage and earthworks
  • Zoned, water-efficient irrigation installation
  • Phased planting aligned with the construction programme
  • Establishment period and agreed plant guarantee
  • Handover documentation and follow-on maintenance plan

Every proposal follows a technical visit to the property. We do not quote fixed rates per square metre.

FAQ

Common questions about landscaping for developers

When should we bring you into the project?

As early as possible. Being involved at design stage lets us adjust levels, drainage and irrigation routes before they are built, which avoids reworking and cost overruns near completion.

Do you coordinate with the project management team?

Yes. We work to the site programme and minutes, attend the agreed site meetings, and align planting with the milestones for levels, buried services and paving.

What happens to the garden after handover?

We propose a maintenance plan with a distinct establishment period. The developer can hold it until the community is formed and then transfer it without any change of technical criteria.

Do you guarantee the planting?

Guarantees are agreed in writing per project and depend on irrigation and maintenance being carried out as specified during establishment. We do not offer blanket guarantees outside those conditions.

Can the works be delivered in phases?

Yes, and it is usual on developments with several handover phases: we complete the areas serving the units being handed over and the routes buyers walk first.
